Art for Hunger
Empty Bowls is a national fundraising event that is specifically designed to benefit hunger relief organizations. Event attendees will receive a simple meal of soup and bread to remind them of those who struggle with hunger in our community. Additionally, participants will choose a handcrafted bowl that has been donated by local students and artists as a memento of the event. A silent auction of professional art, kid’s activities, and access to all Art Center exhibitions will also be available.

Admission for the event is $15, $10 if purchased in advance. Family tickets are also available for $35, $30 if purchased in advance.

Pre-purchase ticket sales will begin soon.

Check back for updates.

All proceeds of Empty Bowls will benefit Channel One Food Bank and Food Shelf to support the mission “working in partnership with others to help feed people in need.” For more information call 507-424-1721.

The Rochester Art Center is located in downtown Rochester next to the Mayo Civic Center at 40 Civic Center Drive. Click here for Mapquest Directions to the Rochester Art Center.
