Essential Functions:
The Food Shelf Associate’s primary function is to ensure the success of Channel One’s mission – “to work in partnership with others to help feed people in need”. This is done by working with individual and group volunteers – giving guidance and direction as needed, to ensure a satisfying shopping experience for clients of all ages and diverse ethnicities.

The Food Shelf Associate is responsible for the daily physical maintenance and stocking of the food shelf and its related warehouse, cooler and freezer areas. The Food Shelf Associate, under the direction of the Client Services Program Manager, and adhering to all Channel One policies and procedures, will ensure that all clients have access to available product in a safe, clean, friendly and non-judgmental environment.
